bellas emergency op, Brodies veteran dog win, brookes agility and a quiet winter of countryside walks

The end of 2021 was a mixed bag of happiness, excitement and panic. Bella developed pyometra early december and had to be rushed in for an emergency spay. I am pleased to say she recovered well from her operation and by christmas holidays we were out doing 10 mile walks and livng the good life again.

Brodie , a new veteran (show dog aged 7 and over) won his class at LKA (best veteran dog)

which i was super pleased about. He always enjoys his day out!

Brooke and i have been attending agility classes since june so over the christmas period we attended some fun shows, with brooke scooping clear rounds. She is super, i just love her and we both have a great time together. She might not be the fastest but 10/10 for accuracy. Hopefully we can start real agility competitions by the summer.

Show wise, i am enjoying an extended break. January has been mild so the walks have been really enjoyable.Over hogmanay i took the dogs away for a few days in dingwall, via nairn and aviemore and enjoyed several beaches, lochs and forest walks.
